Buddy Poole

Buddy Poole , Chief Operating Officer, joined HDG in early 2007, adding the business organization and management discipline skills to balance Jeff Ritchie ? s creative talents. Based in HDG' s home office, he is establishing corporate policies, practices, systems, and procedures. Mr. Poole manages the corporate headquarters and, pending HDG's recruitment of a full time Chief Financial Officer, supervises the financial and accounting functions. Mr. Poole offers thirty years of diversified industry experience following his BA in History from MTSU, Murfreesboro , TN. Prior to joining HDG, Mr. Poole owned and managed Applied Business Solutions, a management consulting business, focusing on the manufacturing sector.

He applied experience, in both line operations and staff functions, acquired from senior positions with companies including Remington Industries, Vatco, Ltd., and Alcoa Fujikura. He has provided consulting services for purchasing and logistics management to several Tennessee companies. Mr. Poole has worked closely with Jeff Ritchie in two prior enterprises and complements Jeff 's style. His “no-nonsense”, highly structured approach to management systems and records, allow Jeff to travel extensively on HDG's behalf, while maintaining the “reach-back “corporate support he needs.
