Caring House Project FoundationCaring House Foundation is a Christian organization that helps the poorest of the poor in communities around the world. Worldwide, a child dies every five seconds from hunger and diseases in impoverished areas. Donations to Caring House builds homes and entire self sustaining villages, provide medical supplies and supply food, water and clothing to orphaned children. HDG staff spent time with leaders of the Foundation and were deeply moved by their work. We‟ve chosen the small island country of Haiti, the second poorest country in the western hemisphere, for our contribution. In Haiti, less than a quarter of children reach the age of 5, and in Port Au Prince, nearly half are infected with HIV. Only 28% of the population has access to safe water.
